About Resumes That Shine and Frank Grossman
Our mission at Resumes that Shine is to deliver career marketing documents that get results. We do this by strategizing with our clients to identify the skills and business accomplishments that support their career and employment goals, and then creating a resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile to address their goals with a consistent personal brand and marketing message.
What We Do

Resumes that Shine offers professional resume writing, cover letter writing, and LinkedIn profile development services to individuals throughout the United States seeking career advancement.
We are proud of our achievements in resume writing, LinkedIn profile writing, and workforce development consulting.
Resumes that Shine has produced successful career marketing documents for clients in all walks of life. Some customers have reported landing the “job of my dreams” within one month of working with us, while many others say they are more confident in their interview prep.
In addition to working directly with clients, we have provided resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile writing services under contract to major career web sites, and to a major MBA program. These projects garnered “5-star” reviews from clients and high customer satisfaction scores.
Resumes that Shine has also provided workforce development consulting and training services to employment programs including NextJob.com, Associated Services for the Blind, Philadelphia CareerLink, and the Philadelphia Unemployment Project.
We taught dozens of homeless individuals and ex-offenders to prepare their own resumes through our Resumes that Shine workshops at the Philadelphia Unemployment Project. Additionally, we exceeded our placement goal by more than 15% during a one year project at Associated Services for the Blind.
About Frank Grossman

Frank Grossman started Resumes that Shine as a part-time endeavor in 2004, shortly before he started working as a Work Readiness Trainer at the ResCare welfare-to-work program in Brooklyn, NY. Initially, Resumes that Shine served co-workers, friends, and family. It grew to include resume and LinkedIn profile assignments from job-seekers nationwide after the welfare-to-work contract ended in December, 2012.
The ResCare program was a resume writing boot-camp of sorts. Frank critiqued, edited, or wrote about 1200 resumes during the program. Management credited him with hundreds of job placements.
Prior to 2004, Frank worked for PROS, a publicly funded outplacement program, where he served as a career advisor to downsized professionals and executives in Manhattan. His academic training includes an MBA, BA, and Certificate in Adult Career Planning and Development, all from NYU.
Today, as a Certified Career Management Coach and Nationally Certified Online Profile Expert with more than 20 years’ experience, Frank partners with career-focused people to help them reach their professional goals. Frank crafts resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles and job search strategies that boost self-confidence, land more interviews, and lead to job offers.
Frank is passionate about revitalizing clients’ career presence on paper and online. Clients collaborate with Frank to create resumes that shine, LinkedIn profiles that glow, and engaging cover letters. His clients are empowered to use these career materials as interview “talking points” too.
Frank’s approach is to leverage his clients’ business accomplishments. He works with clients to determine what problems and opportunities they have addressed, by taking what specific actions to get what quantifiable results. Experience in career services shows that everyone has accomplishments whether they are administrators, fashion designer, civil servants, teachers or chief executives.
Clients work with Frank online and via telephone to develop their documents and online profiles. They receive a complimentary consultation over the phone, including a review of their current strategy. Then, Frank works with client material using a worksheet and an additional telephone conversation to complete the first drafts in less than 5 business days.
